Francesco Rossi was born in Switzerland where he still lives. He graduated as a specialised draughtsman in structural engineering and later on as an interior designer. Over the times his passion for tailoring grew and led to the opening of a Couture Studio in the centre of Zurich.
He designed wedding and evening dresses as well as tailor-made suits and leather clothing. In 1991 he got the master craftsman´s diploma for
tailoring.
The first time he designed bags was for the bike couriers TRAFFICJAM and FLASH. From then on the design and production of bags and accessoires was Mr. Rossi´s new passion.
The bags for men and women are recognizable by a functional and clean style. A style prefered by people who like to have their things well organized and easy to reach. The ROSSIS-BAG with its typical orange interior was born.
Francesco Rossi: "I am fascinated by the skill of reduction. To transform the necessities into a plain, elegant and handy shape. That´s what luxury means to me."
Those features are typical for the products of ROSSIS – for the Classic Line as well as for the
Trend Line. "A quick pull without searching reveals all the things i need. Every day i save time and get a good feeling", knows the designer.
The Swiss label ROSSIS stands for personality. It is a story of success in Switzerland and abroad. Francesco Rossi sticks with his Credo: "Just find, don´t search. "
